Here Come The Girls - Dublin

Ok so sorry in the delay for updates the last few days!
Back from Dublin now. It was absolutely amazing! We had to go on a 4 and a half hour bus drive to get to Dublin and just made it in time for the concert! As soon as i got inside the O2 I went straight to the merch stand and got a t-shirt, keychain and a tour book, which I love. Then we went to our seats, 2nd at the front! I had a look around for some Fanily memebers and spotted some Italian fans I knew lol.

As Anastacia came on stage I got the weird excited feeling I got when I saw her for the first time. It was amazing to see her again and she looked stunning! She waved at me twice and looked at me severaly times! Probably cause I went a lil crazy each time she came to our side of the stage lol! During the interval I decided to go and chat to the Italian fans. I was really nervous and shy, but I said what the hell! You only get a few chances to have moments like these! Alice and Silvia were really sweet and I a lovely photo with them. Love you guys!

Through out the show her voice was really good and she was so professional that I didn't notice she was sick until she started to sing Left Outside Alone. She didn't sing the high note and I got a bit worried about her.. but she was fine again after that up until Angels. She sang it in a lower key than usual. During the song she was trying to tell Lulu that she wouldnt be able to do her part at the end. So Lulu stepped in for her. Anastacia got upset and started crying a lil and Lulu gave her a big hug! At that moment I couldn't hold back the tears either, I hate to see her cry!

When the show had finished I went straight over to Alice and asked if we could go to the back stage entrance to see them coming out. We were pretty sure though that Anastacia wouldn't stop cause of what happend at the end of the show. But we tried anyways... We waited a while until Anastacia's car came out, it had tinted windows so we couldn't see her, just a shawdow lol. But we waved goodbye to her anyway hoping that she saw us!

Then is was time to go and get a taxi back to the hotel. So I said good bye to the Alice, Silvia and the other fans (sorry I cant remember your names!) I gave Alice a hug and we both said we hope to see each other again soon! ♥

City Life - MEN Review

Back for another run following the success of last year’s Britain-wide jaunts, diminutive Sixties icon Lulu once again turned to gal pal, mega-voiced songstress Anastacia for Here Come The Girls.

Only this time they were joined by our very own soulful diva, Heather Small of M People (taking over from Chaka Khan).

With the Arena awash with pink tiaras the trio took to the stage to the strains of... yep, you guessed it, Here Come The Girls.

They rose from underneath the stage, making their grand entrance complete by transitioning (initially messily) into I’m Every Woman – setting the scene for a two-hour party and getting the crowd on their feet from the outset.

And, although the divas are orchestrating things from the stage, the audience needed no encouragement to get into the celebratory spirit.

The girls sang backing vocals on each others’ well-known numbers, delivering such sing-along classics as Moving On Up and Relight My Fire as though they’d been singing them since their inception.

Anastacia managed to reach every corner of the arena with her soulful voice, while Lulu shows no sign of aging – particularly apparent on her passionate cover of Duffy’s retro-sounding hit Mercy.

She’s not as outgoing as her fellow divas, but Heather Small’s earthy vocals fit in perfectly.

Once again hearing her belt out much-loved singles from her M People days is a joy. Medleys of Motown and disco hits, even a somewhat misjudged string of Lady Gaga songs, all keep the atmosphere going, before the Arena fully erupts when Lulu begins her inimitable intro to Shout.
Closing with a mass singalong of Robbie Williams’ Angels, the girls came, saw and conquered.

Crohns and Colitis UK

"One of the perks of the job is to meet supporters and sometimes they are quite famous, such as Anastacia (pictured with the charity’s CEO, Richard Driscoll) who brought the packed stalls of the Hammersmith Apollo to their feet, with her turbo-charged show “Here Come the Girls” alongside fellow diva Lulu and soul star Heather Small from M People. Richard said “The energy-levels of these three amazing performers was just breath-taking … the audience was exhausted by the end of the evening - we never sat down once! Even more inspiring was the way that Anastacia, a Crohn’s sufferer, met her fans prior to the show and spent so much time talking with them that her “minders” had to come and drag her away to get her into her dressing-room in preparation for the show. She was so generous with her time, and we’re very excited that she is supporting our charity.”
