Humo has published a new interview of Anastacia and Natalia. There are also 4 lovely pics that come with it! The Magazine will be out tomorrow.

The steamy double interview , Natalia and Anastacia

When she was in university, Natalia went wild when I’m Outta Love got played on campus party’s. Little did she know that she would one day be filling the Sportpaleis with that same Anastacia. In early 2011 then that time will come, afther earlier succesfull editions with The Pointer Sisters , En Vogue and Shaggy, she will now join forces with a worldstar for a no doubt amazing show with their own hits and a bunch of surprises. Recently they released a single, Burning Star, it sounds like a marketing stunt, but it’s a golden one, because both ladies have a voice, and a story.

Anastacia started out on MTV, had worldwide hits, sold over 20 million records, and afther she beat breast cancer she posed in t-shirts with “Survival Chick” printed on it.

We spoke with both ladies in a limosine driving between Antwerp and Brussels, where we had a very chaotic and cheerfull conversation (to make it clear, this was before it was known Natalia’s father was diagnosed with cancer). One more thing, if it says (big greasy laugh) then that’s the understatement of the week.

HUMO : I would have expected a bigger limosine with champange. How are you both when you are drunk? More silent type, or dancing on the table type?

Anastacia : Then I am even more fun then usuall. Then I talk nonstop to people who don’t wanna listen to things I know nothing about (laughs)

Natalia : Me to, I become very happy and start laughing and very loud if i’m drunk. Dancing on the table not really, although I am the one that gets the party started then.

Humo : Music is a soundtrack for alot of people’s lives, did it ever happen that people complimented their lives to your music?

Natalia : I know from at least one lady that she (raises her legs open in the air) during childbirth put on I’ve Only Just Begun To Fight (One of Natalia’s biggest early hits) really loud, in the hopes it would ease the pain.

Humo : And? Triplings? Minimum?

Natalia : No , one, but is that not amazing? I can see that lady laying there, shaking and pressing.

Anastacia : Yeah , go girl!

Humo : Did you ever go up to a fan before the fan made the first move?

Anastacia : No, oh no yes, I was walking tru Amsterdam when I heared I’m Outta Love blasting out of an open window. In that moment I rang their doorbell and when those people opend the door I said ‘Roomservice!’ Never I saw people dropping their jaws that much (laughs) I saw their eyes goin from me to their tv that had mtv on, back to me and back to the tv again, you saw they where thinking, how can this woman be in both places in the same time? But once they got over that shock they did not wanna let me go anymore, ‘come in, there is plenty to drink, there is plenty of everything (winks), what do you wanna eat, are u staying over…?’ Sweet people, real cute, only later I realized, oh my god, what if they where just making love to my music, they would have opend the door naked!

Humo : You just finished a tour with Chaka Khan, For years I am trying to convince Natalia and her manager that she sould bring ‘Aint Nobody” from Chaka Khan live, a undestructable song, perfect for her voice.

Anastacia : We did that song on the tour with Chaka, Lulu was also there.

Humo : Lulu? Singer from the 60’s?

Anastacia : Yes but her voice is still exellent. She can easily blow you out of your seat 100 meter away.

Humo : Which mistake can you not make when you will great your enthusiastic Antwerp fans? I’m thinking about Béziers…

Anastacia : Oh god, that story will follow me untill the end of my days…(faces Natalia) I had to perform in Béziers, In France, in a huge arena where they normally hold bullfights. There where a bunch of important people there, I was not that famous yet, so alot was riding on this perforamce, but the vibe was amazing. So a few songs into the set I yelled very enthusiasticlly ‘J’adore Bézires” Unfortunatly my French speech is not perfect so it sounded as ‘J’adore baiser!’ The public did not respond, so I thought, with the wind they probably did not understand it clearly, so alot louder I yelled ‘J’ADORE BAISER!!!! And then a deadly silence. Aftherwords someone asked me, ‘doe joe know vot you ave just told all of France?’ Sure, I told’em I love’em….euh not really….man I was dying! But the boss from the French record label said, don’t worry about it, they thought u where amazing, we will sell alot of records here.

Humo : If nipplegate would have happend to you and Janet Jackson then it would never have been the scandal it become. Because you are very spontaneous, you would have landed back on your feet and made a joke about it.

Anastacia : You know what I think? That nipplegate was no accident at all, I think it was planned that Justin Timberlake would rip of Janet’s top piece and they probably did not expect such a negative reaction. I am not sure how it all went down but I do know it bothers people if u start to pretend and fake it.

I would have said, oops, ti*ty, ah, well, that’s life!

Humo : It was also not the first time that something like this happend to an artist, I’ve seen Grace Jones perform before with uncoverd nipples, Lily Allen , and recently Lady Gaga had an “accident” with part of her dress getting ripped off in Ibiza.

Natalia : Something like that will not happen to me. Once I was on stage and I did not know a hairpiece dropped to low with all the moving and shakeing, it went so low so it looked like I had a hairy a*s (laughs) But that’s the only defect I had so far on stage.

Anastacia : Did your never rip your pants? (greasy laugh)

Natalia : Yes, but that story they already know. It was a leather pants, which ripped when I kneeled on stage, I had on a string underit with little diamants….

Humo : Brown?

Natalia : Pink. Behind my back I gave a signal to my backingvocals that I ripped my pants and needed help, but nobody did something, so I had to go off stage into the dressing room where it took 5 mins to get the leather pants off (laughs)

Humo : Do you know that story about Jermain Jackson, brother of Micheal? He breads his own horses, but once a Dutch reporter who did not speak alot of English asked him ‘so, Jermaine, I hear your f*ck your own horses?” Where in response the bodyguards of Jermaine almost beat him into pulp.

Anastacia (bursts out laughing) Then my ‘J’adore Béziers’ aint that bad after all, there is still hope, ha! I am not ashamed for anything, just another day in my life, honey. Every day something goes wrong, part of life. One time I woke up on the day of a concert with a stiff neck, and not just a regular stiff neck, I was standing croocked, like the hunchback of Notre Dame. I got some shots then, which did not work. They could have easily put the stage croocked that day so it at least would have looked like I was walking normally. I did perform that night, but I remember nothing from it, was so high from the shots. Later I heared from my manager that I was doin never ending talks between songs. The guy’s at the mix table where trying via the monitor to get me to start singing the next song, but I just kept talking ‘wait wait wait, just one more fun thing I want to say…” I was the stand up comic from hell.

Humo : In the USA it’s not unsuall for a stand up comic, instead of other singer or group, to be the opening act for a headliner. I once saw Aretha Franklin in New York, with 3 stand up comics as opening act, so weird.

Anastacia : They do that because a comic is no direct competition for the headliner, and also because a comic warms up the audience in another way, they become more loose then for example a rockgroup would do. A better way in my opinion.

Humo : I once saw you in rehearsals for a show in Vegas, when you looked back and saw your cute dancers where gone you said “The guy’s are gone, story of my life”

Anastacia : O, that was for the Divas show, and that IS the story of my life, believe me.

Humo magazine : When was the last time you said no? Profesionally that is.

Anastacia : I just said no to Playboy, not that they asked me , but still (big laugh from both ladies). I would never pose naked.

Natalia : Me neither , not that I am ashamed but there has to be something left to the imagination. It’s a fine line between sexy and vulgar.

Humo : Anastacia , do you know the story of Natalia and the truck?

Anastacia : No, tell me! Dish the dirt girl!

Natalia : I once had a accident on the highway. I was driving on the highway and wanted to make an exit last minute and turned right to abruptly. A truck had to dodge , which made it tilt over and it stated to slide on it’s side over the highaway for about 50 meters. My boyfriend at the time tried to get the driver out of his cabine because we thought what if that truck has 1000’s of liters of fuel as it’s cargo, luckily it was 1000’s of liters of milk. Everybody in Belgium know this story, but only (looks at reporter with a smile grin on her face) guy’s with small you know what bring this story still up.

Humo : Imagine you are asked for the next James Bond movie. What should the roll you play absolutly have to do?

Anastacia : Can I just be irresistibly sexy a la pu*sy Galore? I can see the credits now ‘Also starring, Anastacia as pu*sy Galore’s long lost sister” I swear with the old Bond. And then I don’t only mean Sean Conery, but also the movies from back then. The sex was just alot more subtile then, although ‘pu*sy galore’ (again a greasy big laugh)

Natalia : I want to be like Halle Berry, sexy but strong, not a bimbo, not just a toy for the guy’s, and then making love on the beach….

Anastacia : ….with a bunch of sailors (big greasy laugh from both)

Humo : Name one chickmovie where you had the feeling it really touched you? Sex and the city does not count.

Natalia : I really like ‘Indecent Proposal’ , with Robert Redford as a millionaire who offers one million dollars for one night with a lady. You would expect that this would drive the girl and her boyfriend apart, but that does not happen. In the end she asks her boyfriend, do you still love me, and she says yes and she asks, even afther all that has happend and he says, yes for ever. I tought that was a very nice message of love overcomming all.

Anastacia : (touched) oh girl!

Humo magazine : Did you ever go to a fortune teller?

Anastacia : No , I have about all excentric deviation’s that are known, but I am not surpersticious. I don’t even make a whish when I blow out candles on a birthdaycake.

Natalia : I did, in Amsterdam I went to one who told me some spot on things. He had no idea who I was, but he know my godmother had just died, told me more success will come my way , will have 2 children, live untill my 80’s and that I would work one day in Las Vegas in a show, I would meet a facinating guy who talks with a accent and he will be a little older then me. I want to believe him (laughs)

Humo : What is the strangest place you ever had to put an autograph?

Anastacia : Me on the heel of someone’s foot, nothing special at first sight, but later turns out the girl made that into a tattoo. I thought oh my god, stress! Because that’s a huge responsibility, I am not even sure she was over 18. Next time I will askk before I write, does your mother know this?

Natalia : I was did that, but on the side of a girl, later she came back to show off the tattoo with pride. I thought that was nice.

Humo : Both of you perform alot, when was the last time you went to a concert of another artist and thought, this is so good I want to be on stage up there rightnow?

Natalia : Tina Turner at the Sportpaleis! I was on front row, amazing, I think I spend those 2 hours with a nonstop smile on my face. And Bruce Springsteen, my manager dragged me to that one, something I ended up not being sorry for.

Anastacia : I saw Rod Stewart a while ago. He was very charming, his voice was good, and the hits kept coming. Seriously dude, I was really impressed. I also thought, is it not amazing I know all his songs by heart and don’t own one single album of his? An artist who can say that can die happily.

Humo : A duet with Prince, is that something for u?

Anastacia : A duet with Steven Tyler or Sting would be something for me. I once also recorded one with Michael Jackson but that was never released.

But Prince…..I recently met him, he’s a Jehovah’s witness, right? The first thing i said to him was ‘omigaaawdifuckinloveyourmusic”. He looked at me with that look of his and said very softly ‘uh, you have to pray that you can ban swearing out of your live,otherwise you can never please the lord” Me : I’ll fuckin’ try! , followed with ‘did i fuckin’ curse?’ in which he responded “yeah, you fuckin’ did”.(laughs) Okay that last part I made up, but he was very serious about it. So i thought , my god, this is the guy from “Head” and from “Darling Nikki” who is mastrubating in the lobby from a hotel. In his studio he even has a curseing jar, everybody that swear has to put a $50 into it. I was speechless, and let me tell you, that does not happen to me alot.

But , he is and stays a genius. The last concert I saw of his in London was amazing. Even if he just jams for 15 mins. Btw one of his songs is called ‘Anna Stesia”, but I think afther all that swearing I don’t have to expect a duet with him.

Anastacia is back for the arena tour of Here Come The Girls, coming to Manchester on December 6. She spoke to us about life after cancer, her new image, and why she’s a better talent judge than Simon Cowell.

DIVAS of the world unite — Anastacia, Lulu and Heather Small have teamed up for the biggest girls’ night out this Christmas.

With an evening of music, dance, and jokes, the touring show is described by reviewers as part hen night, part girlie sleepover.

But Anastacia, who made a comeback in 2008 after her battle with breast cancer, says Here Come The Girls isn’t just one for the ladies.

“Last year the men who were dragged along ended up having a better time than their wives. So we’re expecting more men to come along this year,” laughed the five-foot-three ‘Little Lady with The Big Voice’.

“And it excites me that we have to entertain the men too now. If it doesn’t have a bit of fear in it, it’s probably too safe for me,” she added. “If it gives me butterflies, then it’s my kind of thing.”

The Anastacia you see today still sounds the same but she has a brand new look. She’s replaced her highlighted blonde locks and trademark tinted glasses for a softer brunette hairstyle and laser eye surgery.

“I love the fact that people don’t really recognise me right now — until I start to sing,” added the 42-year-old singer.

She made her comeback in 2008 and released an album in the recession. That contributed to it not being the best-received of her works. Heavy Rotation was a different and softer sound for Anastacia, which she admits perhaps wasn’t the right decision.

“It wasn’t a deliberate move. I was just in a different decade of my life, so my music and what I do was going to be a bit different. But it was still very much what I’m all about,” she said.

“I’m in the process of making another album. I don’t know when it’ll be ready as I don’t write when I don’t need to, so it can take a little while. But this time I’ll be using the same recipe as my original I’m Outta Love material, because it worked.”

Off stage, Anastacia has been trying her hand at mentoring the stars of tomorrow, as a judge on Channel Five’s talent contest Don’t Stop Believing. hosted by Emma Bunton.

The programme, inspired by Glee, aired this summer — but what type of judge is Anastacia?

“Do you mean, am I like Simon Cowell?” she laughed. “Let me tell you the problem with Simon Cowell. He is always right. What he’s saying is the truth it’s just the way he says it that is wrong.

“I’d never be so mean to people. But I can’t help but be a fan of his. It’s annoying really.

“It’s not in my nature to deliver my opinion in his style and I enjoyed being a fair judge.”

The first Here Come The Girls was a sell out last year and 2011 looks set to introduce European and North American legs to the tour.

The must-see show signals the beginning of the party season and the 2010 show sees a brand new £1 million stage set, new songs and routines, and a new seven-piece band that promises to get you dancing in the aisles.

Anastacia added: "I can’t wait to get into rehearsals for Here Come The Girls. The sisterhood is back."

Eurovoice 2010 - Bad News

Update: Anastacia came out on stage and made a little speech to say sorry that she couldn't sing and gave an explanation. You can clearly hear the her voice is damaged. Below you can read an article that Christi translated about what happened.

"A few minutes before Eurovoice started Ana threatened to leave...Russians thought that it would be more impressive if they put a mechanism that would fill the stage with smoke...Anastacia said that if something like that happened she couldn't be on top of her voice and threatened to leave "Athinon Arena"...However the managers/producers convinced her to stay after all..."

When Lulu, Anastacia and Chaka Khan set out on last year’s Here Come The Girls tour, some observers would have been ‘excited to see it fail’, giggles Anastacia.

Far from failing, the three-divas-for-the-price-of-one offer went down a storm, garnering a slew of rave reviews and generating a party atmosphere in theatres across Britain.

Having three singers performing a bunch of well-known songs, together and individually was a simple, not to say old-fashioned formula. Which makes you wonder why it hadn’t really been done before.

“It’s an easy concept show, it’s just that we came up with it. It’s a very simple recipe,” agrees Anastacia. “It’s good music, fun, people that like to do it on stage, who have a passion for what they do, and the audience takes it to the next place.

“It’s a great idea, and any country and any threesome can do it.”

You may think that this smacks of an exclusively girls’ night out. Not so, says the gale force singer.

“A lot of people bring their husbands, which is really hilarious because they’re completely confused,” says Anastacia. “They thought they were doing it for their wives, and they are the biggest hams in the audience.

They’re ready to party. It’s definitely not a girls’ night out.”

This time round, schedules and availability mean that the third ‘girl’ joining 61-year old Lulu and 42-year-old Anastacia will be Heather Small, aged 45, all pictured right.

As for the set list, Anastacia is not giving much away except to say that it will feature songs spanning the ‘60s to the Noughties and that there is a brand new £1m stage set.

After this tour, perhaps Anastacia can get back to writing songs for her next solo album. There’s certainly some real-life inspiration to go at. She married her English bodyguard Wayne Newton – a Manchester United fan – in 2007, but confirmed in April this year that the pair are to divorce. That’s on top of her well-documented health problems including Crohn’s disease and, in 2003, breast cancer.

“I will definitely be putting another album out,” she says. “I think I’ve taken some quite interesting twists and turns in my personal and my career life, and there’s more material in me to come out.

“The next experience from this chick? We’re probably going to want to buy into this because it’s going to be something.”

Her last album, 2008’s Heavy Rotation, came out at a ‘very terrible time for a lot of people’s careers’, what with a worldwide economic slump.

“Lady Gaga was the only one who survived the slings and arrows of coming out during a depression of music, shall we say,” Anastacia observes.

Home for the Chicago-born singer remains America, but London is a second home, and it is the UK where she has enjoyed perhaps her greatest success.

Anastacia Newkirk got her big break in 1999 through MTV’s The Cut, an early example of the kind of talent show which, with X Factor and American Idol, has come to dominate TV schedules. She was a judge on this year’s Don’t Stop Believing TV talent trek on Five. Anastacia is entirely comfortable with this method of finding the stars of the future.

“Now we have all these different shows that are capable of giving a venue for artists to be discovered. That’s all it does,” she says. “It’s not just a record company any more, it is to involve the world in this journey. It’s the journey on steroids, it really is! But it doesn’t mean those are the only talents out there.

“I think you end up seeing the best of the best succeed. It could be the fourth finalist, it could be the 12th finalist, or it could be the first finalist.”

With a Here Come The Girls tour and the prospect of a new album to write, you wonder if Anastacia will be able to find time for the Anastacia Fund, which she set up to raise awareness of breast cancer in younger women.

“Always,” she says firmly. “That’s a current subject for me every year. It continues to be something I pursue and will continue giving.”

But, having got through it, isn’t the temptation now to try and forget about her brush with cancer?

“There’s no reason that, because I’ve journeyed through it, I can’t hold the hands of those who are going through it too. There’s still the passion and drive to get rid of it, the same way we want to get rid of hunger and Aids.”

Eurovoice - 23rd Sept 2010

Eurovoice will be taking place tomorrow night in Athens, Greece. This will be Anastacia's first appearance in Greece. She will be performing from 10.45 pm to 11.20 pm (Greek time) and she will sing about 5 songs at the show. It will be broadcasted online on the channel ANT1 and on the Eurovoice website. Sakis Rouvas has cancelled his appearance so there will be no duet.

Anastacia can not travel on the underground

The dark side of fame: Anastacia (41) has no idea how to use public transport and is afraid of getting lost.

The successful musician ('I'm Outta Love') is not too glamorous to travel by buses or trains, but clearly lacks the necessary practice. After all, she seems to have not even sat in a metro this year.

Anastacia Admits "Last year I went with my ex-husband (Wayne Newton) " and added: "But I wont find my way there alone if no one helps me! "

2003 the megastar was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her first reaction was to distract herself with a huge gift.

"I have a Frank Muller diamond watch I bought for 78,000 Euros, as I discovered I had cancer," recalled the singer and sighed, "Because I did not know where life would lead me."

Meanwhile, Anastacia has survived cancer and is now the founder of the 'Anastacia Fund', which promotes greater attention to breast cancer among young women.

1. What's the worst thing you've done drunk?
I don't remember. When I drink lots I forget! I think I was British in a previous life based on my drinking abilities!

2. When did you last use public transport?
Last year when I took the tube with my ex-husband (Wayne Newton). But I can't figure out the tube unless I have someone to help me!

3. What's the most extravgant thing you've ever bought?
I bought a £65,000 Franck Muller diamond watch when I found out I had cancer, as I didn't know where life was going. If I was going to go out, I was going to go spending!

4. When did you last say 'I love you'?
To my Yorkshire Terrier dog called Freak this morning.

5. Have you ever cheated on anyone in the past?
When I was like 22 I liked a guy more than my boyfriend, but rather than break up, I cheated on him. I felt so bad it has stopped me from doing it again.

6. What do you most dislike about yourself?
I am my own biggest critic and keep pushing myself. I look after other people much better - I'm a giver rather than a receiver.

7. Which celeb do you secretly fancy?
I wouldn't turn down Johnny Depp - he's hot!

8. When was the last time you cried?
On August 12th I was singing I Belong To You on stage and it touched a nerve.

9. Are there any celebs numbers on your mobile?
James Blunt is the latest addition. We met on a 12 hour flight, it was enough to make us friends!

10. What is your most embarrassing moment ever?
I have so many, I no longer get embarrassed by them. Disasters are part of the territory.

11. What is your favourite thing to cook?
I fell out of the habit of cooking a while back because of all the travelling. I am a microwave and tin can kind of a girl. Sorry.

12. Which celebrity would you like to disappear forever?
If I don't understand a celebrity, I don't take any notice of them, so the only people I really want to execute in this world are the terrorists!

Celebrity tarot: Anastacia

Singer Anastacia is 42 on Friday and her card is called Justice.

It tells of her strong sense of fairness, plus strength to tell it like it is, which made her the perfect judge on TV talent show Don't Stop Believing.

New success with her own music career starts next year with a brilliant album.

Lulu talks about Anastacia and HCTG

"Lulu hits the road with Here Come The Girls, her diva package tour which also stars Anastacia and Heather Small of M People, who replaces Chaka Khan.

The trio kick off their new £1million stage show at Edinburgh Playhouse on November 22 and the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow the following night.

She said: "Our voices are strong, powerful but very different.

"It's great Heather has joined us because I've always been a fan.

"Last year she came to see Here Come The Girls as a punter. She told me: 'Who wouldn't want to come and see three such great singers?'

"I also love working with Anastacia. She is an amazing lady who successfully fought breast cancer. She's a very strong person - as is Heather who is a single mum. I have great admiration for both.

"Heather is very opinionated - and quite rightly so - because she talks so much sense.

"When Anastacia and I met her for the first time we were chattering away in our high-pitched squeals while Heather spoke in this deep, sexy purr.

"Now she's been hanging out with us, her voice is getting higher.

"The idea of getting all dressed up and putting on a show is such fun.

"Every girl in the audience is shouting , 'Where did you get those shoes?' While the guys are staring at Anastacia's cleavage."

Sky News & HCTG ticket detials

Anastacia, Lulu and Heather were guests on Sky News Sunrise this morning to promote Here Come The Girls. Thanks to Andrea for the caps, and as usual she was gorgeous!

Tickets for the tour went on general sale today. Get yours from Gigs and Tours now! As for the Irish HCTG dates, tickets for the 02 Arena, Dublin will be going on pre-sale on 14th Sept and general sale from 16th Sept at 9:00 am.

Tickets for the Odessey Arena, Belfast will be going on sale on 16th Sept at 10:00 am.

The venue for Eurovoice has been changed. It will now take place in the Athens Arena and NOT at the OAKA Stadium. We do not yet know exactly why this change happened.

Also, we have a list of what Anastacia wants for her stay in Greece and they are very simple normal things!

1. No smoking areas in her room before the show
2. Vanilla scented candles
3. Total 0% fat Greek yoghurt
4. Her bodyguards should NOT have a gun
5. A mirror where she can see her whole body
6. A DVD player and a list of DVDs that the hotel offers
7. 8 Diet Cokes without caffeine, a packet of M&Ms, and caramel chocolate with peanuts.

Burning Star Premiere!

The new Natalia Meets Anastacia single 'Burning Star' will premiere on Sept 17th during "Ornelis & Rogiers Showtime" on the Q-Music radio station in Belgium. The show starts at 6am until 9am (Belgium) and you can listen to it live here, click on "luister live". Thanks NataliaDivaFan!

BBC Breakfast

Here Come The Girls Irish dates

The Irish dates for HCTG have been removed from the Here Come The Girls official website. Hopefully they are not canceled. I'll try to get more info on this so check back soon.

Update: Tickets for HCTG at the 02 arena in Dublin are going on sale from 9am on 16th Sept and pre-sale on 14th.

Hi Fan-ily

I am back in the UK after a very short time at home in LA....

I will be doing some promotion for the upcoming UK tour of Here Come The Girls!!!!

I was told some great and special news!!! The promoters have allowed my site to have a special pre sale link for these upcoming shows starting Wednesday 8th Sept!!! Check it out in the 'news' section.

I hope to see all the beautiful faces of my fan-ily fans!!! I promise that this show will be even better than last years!!! Our new girl, Heather Small is energetic, funny and has an amazing voice!!!

Also, we will have a live band this time!!!! Yeahhhh!!!! We are all live band performers so this will add a huge dimension to our songs!!!
