Don't Stop Believing - 5th Episode

New Blog!
As many of you guys know I'm a judge on a new competition reality show in the UK called Don't Stop Believing.....I did the fourth episode last Sunday with only two more left.
I am having such a good time on the show!!! It is so refreshing being part of a show that emphasizes the love for music and singing with no age or size limitations!!!
I wanted to send a special thank you to everyone for all the support during some personal changes in my life in the past few months..... I was blessed during this time to have the duet presented to me from Dima Bilan... The song was a perfect way for me to share how I felt about my fan-ily!!!!!! I knew it was meant to be!!! I dedicated the song Safety to all my fans!!! The words say everything I feel for you guys!!!
Ok, on that note, I was a guest on this song, technically, so I know I have gotten a few of you guys asking about the video and its meaning....
The video shows Dima in a place that many artists find themselves in....the media, tabloids, paparazzi have trapped him in a corner leaving him angry and at a loss for his passion for music.....
Just like the woman who hits him with her car connects with his humaness and decides to delete the pictures she could have made so much money selling, his heart starts feeling alive as this woman inspires his musical heart....his ability to go back to performing is made alive again by performing with Anastacia(Me!!! Hee hee)....sweet and simple!!! And for me my fans were my inspiration that pulled me out of many a dark and challenging time!!!!
There are some great plans for my official website over the next few months!! I am working on re-designing the site.....I am going to blog regularly along with consistent video blogs!!! And I will eventually join the twitter world!!
I really want the official website to be a home for all my fans to come together in community.... I am so touched that so many of you have your own dedicated websites!! I hope my site can be an anchor for everyone and I promise to update the site regarding what I am doing....
I know a few of you will be at my show in Portugal next week!!! I think you will be very happy with the set list....((-:

Here Come The Girls
- There won't be any album of HCTG.. and there isn't any confirmation on a DVD now that Chaka is no longer doing the tour.
- Their not doing a new photoshoot because they liked the last one too much.. so there gonna take some photos of Heather and then add her to the some of the photos of the first leg of the tour photoshoot.
- Lulu said she likes to see Ana every week.. but at moment Anas away for a few days.. but she didnt mention where. She says their both like sisters she also said how much they enjoyed going to see Tamzin Outhwaite perform in Sweet Charity at the Theatre Royal Haymarket last week!!
- They were disappointed that Chaka wasnt doing the 2nd leg of the tour.. it was for commitment reasons and then they tried getting Aretha Franklin to do it but she wouldn't do all the travelling. Chaka was contracted to do the second show but she pulled out of it unfortunately. But they are looking forward to Heather Small joining them!! She also talked about the Miami show with Gloria Gaynor and that it was a fab show to do but that it was a one off show.

She didnt want to give away to much information but she did say she would work on it for a long time and doesn't know when it will be released yet. She also said she has a suprise for us in 2011! (wonder what that could be?) What do you guys think?
- Anastacia said that she wouldn't suggest to anyone to enter the business unless they have a very special talent because it is a difficult lifestyle.

Anastacia in the studio
Anastacia was rehearsing today, we're not exactly sure what she was there for at the moment but as soon as we know it will be posted. This is what Duncan James said on twitter:Daily Star behind the scenes of Don't Stop Believing
DON’T Stop Believing is the hottest new telly show to be buzzed into our living rooms and your Daily Star was invited backstage to get an exclusive peek at the action.
And as I tap-danced my way to the all-singing and alldancing Channel Five studios I couldn’t wait to meet the latest contestants battling for instant pop fame.
Inspired by the hit US series Glee, Don’t Stop Believing is hosted by the nation’s sweetheart and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who describes the weekly live show as “a great feelgood show” and “a real celebration of talent”.
And giving the lucky hopefuls a helping hand along the way are the star-studded panel of judges – Blue heart-throb Duncan James, actress Tamzin Outhwaite, High School Musical choreographer Chucky Klapow, 30, and multi million-selling pop diva Anastacia.
As I approach the grounds of the studio it looks like it’s been hit by a tornado of sequins and mascara as the performers limber up their legs and voices for a dress rehearsal before the show went live at the weekend.
All 46 glammed-up members of female troupe DaleDiva, who go on to win the show’s public vote, are in one corner practising their harmonies.
Founder and chief diva Ally Law cannot contain her excitement about getting to appear.
She tells me: “We’ve got infectious energy so I thought we’d be brilliant for the show. Our average age is 48. The oldest is 68 and the youngest is 23. It’s important to show you can sing and dance whatever your age.
“The girls are just buzzing from being able to have this opportunity and experience.”
Next stop is the area nicknamed “the hallway of hairspray”.
That’s where performers go under a magical transformation.
I spy Shira Jacobs, 21, one fifth of musical family Jacobs Street, getting her lippy applied and she’s still shaken after a near death experience.
She tells me: “I nearly wasn’t able to perform. In rehearsals I almost broke my back. We have box props and I jumped off one backwards and my shoe caught in my dad’s microphone pack.
“I’m now on medication and strapped up but I’m so happy we can still perform.”
Slightly less chaotic are the cluster of dressing rooms containing the judges. Anastacia, 41, can’t decide which Alexander McQueen dress to wear for the evening.
She finally settles on a body-hugging maxi. Meanwhile Duncan keeps announcing he has to nip to the loo because of nerves.
Tamzin, 39, joins me for a natter in the green room and tells me that her two-year-old daughter Florence Elsie is a massive fan of the show.
“At first she couldn’t understand that mummy was in the chair and not on the stage,” she laughs while picking at a selection of crisps and chocolate.
“She stops in her tracks and is completely mesmerised by the show.
“It is definitely a lot of people’s guilty pleasure. The contestants are of such a high standard and it just gets better and better.”
Then I’m joined by the lovely Duncan, 32, who has brought a massive Tupperware box of chicken he cooked last night with him.
There’s not a shortage of grub on set, though. I spy huge bowls of crisps, sweets and fruit in all the dressings rooms for the hungry contestants.
Tucking in, he tells me why he knew he had to get involved on the judging panel.
He beams: “What I like about this show is that it’s not trying to be anything that it’s not. It’s simply pure fun.
“It’s a feel-good entertainment show which is the perfect for the family. When I was younger I would have jumped at the chance to perform on it.”
But instead he jumps on Anastacia and it’s clear the pair have bonded after they got to know each other better.
Before long the champers is cracked open in anticipation of the one-hour countdown and host Emma, 34, reveals it’s the perfect way to cure any pre-show jitters.
Clinking her glass with mine, she says: “I don’t have any rituals before the show but a glass of bubbly definitely helps to calm my nerves beforehand!
“It’s always such an adrenaline rush and I love hosting such a fun show. It’s live, too, so there’s nothing to hide behind.”
And with millions of viewers tuning in to the telly sensation of the summer it also has a celebrity following.
Lulu, 61, tottered into the studios in Maidstone, Kent, in dark shades and sky-high stilettos to sit in the audience.
Anastacia reveals she’s got friends Elton John, 63, and Sharon Osbourne, 57, also tuning in.
Then it’s time for lights, camera, action as Original Talent, Jacobs Street, Love Soul Choir, DaleDiva, Swish and Bridgwater Show Choir all step out to follow their dreams and to remember no matter what – Don’t Stop Believing.
Tune in to Channel Five on Sunday at 5.45pm for your next instalment of Don’t Stop Believing; visit five.tv for more information.
